Russian gas giant Gazprom has shut down Power of Siberia gas pipeline as of Tuesday for a week-long scheduled turnaround.
“From March 29 to April 4, planned maintenance work will be carried out at the Power of Siberia gas pipeline. During this period, gas transportation will be suspended,” Gazprom said.
It added that under an agreement between Gazprom and China National Petroleum Corporation (CNPC), preventive maintenance of gas pipeline equipment and systems is carried out twice a year, respectively in spring and autumn.
