Norwegian operator Hoegh LNG expects strong global demand for floating storage and regasification units to continue into next year, even with gas storage levels in Europe at historic highs ahead of the winter season.
In its latest financial report, Hoegh said that while the company has secured long-term contracts for its entire fleet of 10 FSRUs, the business development team is in “active dialogue with several potential new projects looking for FSRU capacity”.
