Russia’s largest independent gas producer, Novatek, is set to bring on line this week its liquefied natural gas transshipment facility near the Barents Sea port of Murmansk, as its Yamal LNG project in West Siberia continues to send cargoes to Europe.

Deputy executive chairman Yevgeny Ambrosov said a first cargo from Novatek-led Yamal LNG is set to flow into the Saam floating storage unit on 15 September, according to Moscow-based news agency Interfax.
