South Africa's government has issued another market inquiry covering the development of a liquefied natural gas import terminal.
Natural gas, wind and solar power is expected to play a bigger role in South Africa’s blackout and brownout riven energy system in the coming decade, at the expense of coal which currently meets 80% of demand.
