French supermajor TotalEnergies will supply, install and operate a floating storage and regasification unit for Germany’s Deutsche ReGas, as the European nation scrambles to boost its liquefied natural gas import capacity to make up for losing pipeline supplies from Russia.
Deutsche ReGas is developing the Deutsche Ostsee terminal at the port of Lubmin, which is the exit point for export pipelines Nord Stream 1 and 2 from Russia.
