US liquefied natural gas exporter Sempra Infrastructure has reached an agreement with the Polish Oil and Gas Company (PGNiG) for the offtake of about 3 million tonnes per annum (tpa) of LNG from facilities at Cameron, Louisiana and Port Arthur, Texas.
Poland is currently facing a potential gas crunch, as PGNiG purchased more than half of its natural gas supply from Russia’s Gazprom in the first quarter of the year.
