Australia’s Woodside Energy is boosting its global liquefied natural gas portfolio with the addition of up to 2.5 million tonnes per annum from Commonwealth LNG’s grassroots export project at Cameron Parish, Louisiana in the US.

Initial deliveries under the binding sales and purchase agreements are expected in mid-2026.

Woodside added that the SPAs will become fully effective on the satisfaction of contractual conditions, including Commonwealth taking the final investment decision on its proposed liquefaction project.
