Australian contractor Worley has won more work for Cheniere Energy’s grassroots Corpus Christi liquefied natural gas export project in the US.

Worley has been awarded a construction services agreement (MCSA) by project operator Corpus Christi Liquefaction, a subsidiary of Cheniere.

Under the MCSA, Worley will provide civil, structural, mechanical, instrument and electrical, HVAC and marine construction services at the Corpus Christi LNG project, the first greenfield export facility in the US Lower 48.

When complete, the three-train liquefaction project will have capacity of up to 13.5
