Recruitment is the LNG sector’s number-one challenge, according to the Society of International Gas Tanker and Terminal Operators (Sigtto).
In a survey of members, recruitment was cited as the top concern. “Vacancy levels in the shore-based LNG sector are at a record high and we forecast them to continue growing,” Mark Charman of Faststream, which carried out the survey, told a Sigtto panel meeting in Brunei.
