The extended deal, worth around $8 million, has been signed with an unnamed oil company in Malaysia for acquisition of 3D electromagnetic data using the vessel BOA Thalassa, the Oslo-listed contractor said in a statement confirming an earlier announced provisional award.
The vessel, which has been laid up since May, is being reactivated for the survey that has an estimated duration of two months and is due for completion in early January.
