Offshore driller Ensco has delayed delivery of a newbuild drillship for two more years in hopes it can put the rig to work when the market has recovered further.
Ensco said in a securities filing on Monday that it has agreed with South Korean shipyard Samsung Heavy Industries to extend the delivery delay for the uncontracted drillship until 31 March 2019.
