Toronto-listed ACL International is preparing to spud an exploration well on the onshore South Block A production sharing contract in North Sumatra, Indonesia.
PSC partner Lion Energy said it had been informed by the operator it was on schedule to spud the Amanah Timur-1 exploration well around 5 December.
“Planning, site preparation and rig mobilisation are occurring on schedule and we look forward to a safe and successful well,” Lion chief executive Kim Morrison said.
