Perenco confirmed in a statement on Sunday that “at this stage, no survivors have been found”.
The MI-8 chopper was making a routine flight from Iquitos to Perenco’s Block 67, located in the north-east of the Loreto region near the border with Ecuador.
The nine passengers and four crew members on board were all Peruvian nationals, the company said.
"The Peruvian Army is at the scene and two additional helicopters are supporting the rescue efforts," Perenco said.
