Inpex’s Abadi 9.5 million tonnes per annum liquefied natural gas project will be built in South Tanimbar, Indonesia according to a local official.

West Southeast Maluku District head Petrus Fatlolon said he had been notified by Indonesia’s upstream regulator SKK Migas to reserve 600 hectares of land for the grassroots LNG project.

"Currently I could not yet announce the precise spot for the location to prevent landowners from taking advantage by raising their land price," Petrus was quoted by national news agency Antara.
