Petrel announced in May that it expected to raise A$1 million for the sale of PELs 422, 424 and 471 in the Darling basin and PELs 6, 427, 428 and 255 in the Surat basin and Bowen basin.
In an announcement, Acer said the fee would be payable on registration of the permits, with PEL 471 currently undergoing renewal.
