The deal, awarded by Statoil on behalf of gas infrastructure operator Gassco, covers mainly firewater and blowdown systems, as well as boilers, as part of three sub-projects to be completed in 2018.
“The purpose of the work is to help maintain technical integrity at the plant and deal with ageing,” Gassco said in a statement.
No value was disclosed for the deal, though the workscope is described as "substantial".
