The Front Puffin floating production, storage and offloading unit is preparing for a 72-hour production test to go on hire, “which is expected to be conducted in the near future,” block partner Panoro Energy said.

The field in OML 113 produced first oil on 3 May, a milestone that marked first output from Nigeria’s emerging Dahomey basin.

Both the Aje 4 and 5 wells have now been brought on stream, with each producing in excess of 5000 barrels per day, Panoro said.
