Norway’s Akastor reduced its losses in the third quarter of the year as lower expenses and a lack of impairments helped offset a fall in revenue.

The company posted a loss of Nkr160 million ($19.4 million) for the September quarter, an improvement on the nearly Nkr1.4 billion loss booked over the same period last year.

Helping reduce the red ink was a fall in operating expenses, from Nkr3 billion to Nkr1.4
