The first contract covers a production system consisting of a manifold, four subsea trees and a 15-kilometre long umbilical that will connect to the adjacent Heidrun platform.
It also covers wellheads, controls, tie-in and workover systems and carries options for further subsea production tie-back connections to Heidrun.
Aker revealed it had also been awarded a five-year framework contract, which could be extended by three-year periods, for maintenance and servicing of the subsea production systems, including installation and commissioning services.
