The supplier's Ampelmann A-type gangway system will be used for transfer of personnel between vessels and offshore facilities in waters off Sarawak during the monsoon season that runs from October to February.
The company said its system compensated all vessel motions to provide a stable gangway for transfers, while also minimising the amount of days for vessels waiting on weather.
The contract is Ampelmann's first with Malaysia's Petra.
