The company posted a net loss of $515 million in the three months to December, compared to a loss of $1.25 billion in the year-ago period.

It said the red ink included $243 million in one-time items.

Revenue was on the rise, however, increasing to $2.38 billion from $2.05 billion in the 2015 period.
