The project was put on hold earlier this year due to the low oil price environment, and a revised final investment decision was set down for the second half of 2016, with first oil planned in 2018.
Before the oil price collapse, project sanction has been targeted for the end of this year.
Despite the deferral, both joint venture partners — and particularly AWE — have remained positive about the project’s potential.
