Sidetrack operations will enable Santos to do drillstem tests in the K-sand and G-sand reservoirs, said joint venture partner AWE.
The well has already hit oil-bearing sands in both the primary G sand and secondary K sand objectives, and provided new information to further the development planning of the K sand and to assist with the development potential of the G sand, said AWE.
