Under the sub-contract from Singapore’s POSH Terasea Offshore, Aqualis will manage the installation process of the floater off Western Australia as well as provide position keeping masters for the job.
POSH is in charge of towing the floater from Daewoo Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering’s Okpo yard for the Ichthys liquefied natural gas project.
No contract value was disclosed by Aqualis.
The Ichthys LNG project in is on target for production start-up in the third quarter of 2017.
