The Silver Star-1 well is expected to spud before the end of 2016, and will be drilled to a depth of around 3600 metres targeting basin centred gas in the Permian sandstones of the Patchawarra Trough, said Senex.
"Should the properties of the reservoir successfully meet certain thresholds defined by the joint venture, a lateral section of up to 1500 metres will then be drilled.
