The C18-3 well and C18-4 well are targeting oil production from the Pierre formation, a naturally fractured shale at a shallow depth.
These wells are to be drilled tangentially into the formation and do no need to be hydraulic fractured.
Austin will drill the wells vertically and set conductor and surface casings.
Operations will be suspended in December as part of Colorado state regulations, but will re-commence in April to progress to completion.
