AWE revealed on Tuesday the deal which it had agreed to earlier this year with Hindustan had now been completed.
It received a A$16 million deposit during the previous financial year, which ended 30 June, and will now receive a A$64 million payment following the completion of the sale.
AWE said it would use the A$64 million completion funds to repay drawn debt and to fund development projects.
