The joint venture between Danish shipping company Lauritzen Offshore and Norwegian private equity player HitecVision will now not accept delivery of the semi-submersible accommodation unit from Cosco Qidong Offshore until the owner gives the yard further notice.
The GM500A-design unit, ordered in September 2012 and set to be named Axis Nova, was originally set for delivery in the first quarter this year.
