Axis said the latest flotel, Axis Vega, would be the second in a series of up to four floating accommodation vessels to be built at the Chinese shipyard.
Its sister vessel, Axis Nova, is currently under construction at the yard and is scheduled for delivery in the first quarter of 2015.
Like Axis Nova, the Axis Vega will be based on the GM500A semi-submersible design.
