Private equity-backed player AziNor Catalyst looks set to increase its footprint in the UK section of the North Sea with a farm-in to acreage held by Zennor Petroleum.
AziNor is understood to be farming into licence P2243 in the Outer Moray firth north-east of Aberdeen, taking a 50% stake and operatorship.
The acreage contains Block 14/17a and is adjacent to AziNor’s Partridge licence P1989 in the Jura sub-basin.
