North Dakota oil flows, which include the vast majority of the oil produced from the Bakken, dropped from 1.047 million bpd in May to 1.026 MMbpd in June, according to the latest figures from the North Dakota Industrial Commission (NDIC).
The drop is an about-face after production climbed by about 6000 bpd May but NDIC director Lynn Helms warned then that the May figures were an outlier and not a reversal of the declinging trend.
