Overall production dipped from 1.207 million barrels per day to 1.186 million bpd between July and August – a decline of about 1.7%, according to the latest figures from the North Dakota Industrial Commission.

Natural gas production fell by about 16 million cubic feet per day over the same period to 1.644 MMcf/d, the NDIC said. The amount of gas flared by operators remained flat at 20%.
