Balder had been due at Heidelberg last month but sources said the vessel was stuck at Big Foot. Heerema was contracted to install tendons for the tension-leg platform, where work was nearing completion when nine of the 16 subsea mooring lines sank to the sea floor.
With Balder waylaid in Walker Ridge, Anadarko had to find another vessel to begin installing mooring lines at Heidelberg, located in Green Canyon Block 859.
