The Bambazon-1 well encountered about 15 metres of net reservoir pay over three main intervals after being drilled by Seadrill jack-up West Prospero to a total depth of around 1380 metres in Lundin-operated Block SB307/308, the Swedish explorer said in a statement.
It has now been plugged and abandoned, with the costs of the hole to be expensed in Lundin’s first-quarter accounts.
