Rasgas, a Qatar-based joint venture between Qatar Petroleum and ExxonMobil, said on the weekend that the completed topsides had left Hyundai Heavy Industries’ fabrication yard in South Korea and would take about one month to reach the offshore field.
The topsides, which weigh a total of 9500 tonnes and include three wellhead platforms and an additional living quarters module, are scheduled for installation next month.
