Net profit in the first three quarters of the year was 77.8 billion roubles ($1.1 billion), a 16% increased compared to last year’s 67 billion roubles.
The strong financial performance was supported primarily by a 12.1% year-on-year increase in oil production and growth of export and domestic sales of crude oil, according to Bashneft.
Earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation (Ebitda) also increased by 19% to 99 billion roubles, compared to 83 billion roubles last year.
