In the invitation to oil companies issued last week by the Norwegian Petroleum Directorate, maps show that companies may nominate all 55 whole or partial blocks in the Nordland 6 area, with the exception of two blocks that are already licensed.
The maps also show the so-called More blocks, located near the coast off the towns of Aalesund, Molde and Kristiansund, as available for nomination in the 24th round.
