Beach accepts Cooper Somerton bid

Australia’s Beach Energy will sign over its 56.22% stake in Somerton Energy to Cooper Energy unless presented with a superior offer, the company has announced.

Deal done: If Beach sells its stake in Somerton Energy to Cooper Energy, the latter's stake will rise to 77.8%.
