Beach steps into Gippsland stake

Australian explorer Beach Petroleum said it had agreed to farm in to a stake in unconventional gas reserves in the onshore Gippsland basin in Victoria state under a deal with Lakes Oil worth up to A$50 million (US$46.3 million).
