BG Group US Services will cut 118 employees from the Houston office on 31 August, according to a letter filed with the Texas Workforce Commission. Another 36 jobs will go on 30 September.
In addition, a "small number" of employees will stay on at the Houston office to carry out specific transition activities and will be laid off at a later date.
