The 800 feet tall structure, weighing over 15,500 tonnes, was completed on schedule and installed in water depths of 500 feet. The platform, the largest in Trinidad and Tobago, will enable gas reserves in excess of 2.4 trillion cubic feet gas to be produced from three fields - Hibiscus, Poinsettia and Chaconia.



The operator's president Peter Dranfield said: "British Gas T&T and its partners are using innovative techniques to develop this new gas province with some of the most advanced extended reach drilling technology.
