BHP Billiton to pay up in bribery probe

International operator BHP Billiton has agreed to pay $25 million in penalties to the US Securities & Exchange Commission (SEC), which has charged the company with violating the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA) during the Summer Olympics in Beijing in 2008.
