Sources close to the tender process told Upstream that the four players operating under Aramco’s long term agreement (LTA) arrangements submitted bids to the Saudi Arabian state oil company on 8 May, after a few deadline extensions.
The two Safaniyah tenders, which were issued separately earlier this year, are expected to be tightly contested, with one source suggesting there will be “a lot of pressure on pricing considering the market situation”.
