The blast occurred on the line on Monday evening, Reuters reported, citing Turkish energy officials.
This is the second time in less than a month that the Turkish section of the pipeline carrying gas from Shah Deniz has been attacked. On 4 August it was also assaulted, although flows had already been shut in the day before for maintenance work.
Reuters said that flows resumed on 23 August, although not at full capacity, before Monday’s latest sabotage.
