On Tuesday, a day before the online broadcast is to kick off, about a dozen protesters with a petition to stop the federal sale of offshore oil and gas leases were prevented from entering the building in New Orleans where the sale is being held, the Associated Press reported.
Sheriff's deputies said the federally leased building is privately owned and the owner did not want the demonstrators inside, the AP said.
