The Devon asset package includes 33,000 gross acres and interests in 480 wells in San Juan and Rio Arriba counties, most of which are part of the Northeast Blanco Unit.
It is the first large-scale move by the US onshore division and its chief executive David Lawler since the unit separated its operations from its parent in an effort to become more nimble and efficient.
