Norwegian contractor DeepOcean has been awarded a contract for subsea services at BP's Foinaven field, West of Shetland, in the UK.
DeepOcean said the call-off received under its new Master Service Agreement with BP covered the installation of a new flexible water injection riser and the recovery of the existing water injection riser in the Foinaven field in a water depth of 460 metres.
