The British supermajor identified engineer Sebastian John, 26, of Nottingham, vice president Carlos Estrada, 44, of Colombia and well operations manager Gordon Rowan, 58, of Oregon, as among the victims.
A fourth employee is also "feared to have lost his life in the attack," but BP did not release information on his identity.
