BP will buy for $750 million a 20% stake in Rosneft’s Taas-Yuryakh Neftegazodobycha field under one of several agreements signed at the International Economic Forum in St Petersburg, although the value of the deal was not disclosed.
The companies also agreed to carry out joint exploration in Siberia that, if successful, would result in formation of a venture in which Rosneft would hold 51% and BP 49%.
