The Australian major said on Monday that the partners - Anglo-Dutch supermajor Shell, UK supermajor BP, Mitusbishi-Mitsui and PetroChina - have opted to progress basis of design work in relation to the floating LNG development concept to commercialise the three Browse gas fields.
Woodside revealed FLNG as its preferred concept in August but was waiting for approval by the rest of the joint venture.
